AFTERGLOW ADMISSION​

When you register on Zeffy, there is a separate add-on for Afterglow Admission. Afterglow Admission sales will also be available at the convention registration desk. NO WALK-UP DRINK SALES WILL BE AVAILABLE.

This admission will grant you access to the open bars in the Afterglow Rooms, where beer, water, and pop will be provided, and a cash bar will be available for mixed drinks. Your Name Badge will have a special designation, and alcoholic drinks can only be obtained from the bartenders with this designation. NO OUTSIDE DRINKS ARE PERMITTED. Beverages will be available while supplies last.

The afterglow will take place at the Holiday Inn & Suites in the Ballroom. The Holiday Inn normally does not allow events to bring in alcohol, pop, water, and snacks. They have made an exception for us, but because they have a liquor license, a bar, and a restaurant on-site, they have to open all alcoholic beverages. Consequently, we have to hire 3 of their bartenders, and there is a per-person charge to help cover the costs of the bartenders and the hall rental.
A registration fee shall be charged to all competitors at District contest events. This fee shall entitle the competitor to attend all contest sessions at the contest for which the fee is charged. Cancellations made 7 or more days prior to the event will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made 3-6 days prior to the event will receive an 80% refund. Cancellations after that will not receive any refund.
