The Society Board of Directors has asked the Music & Performance Committee to design a voluntary program that a chapter chorus or chapter quartet can use to evaluate their public performance packages with the goal of achieving a Standing Ovation. Certainly, a Standing Ovation is a goal of every performance. A
Standing Ovation Program is now in place! This Standing
Ovation Program (SOP) focuses on the public performance, not on a two-song set. There is nothing mandatory about this program. It is absolutely voluntary! If you don't want a Standing Ovation, you probably won't wish to be a part of this program. If you do seek a Standing Ovation, you'll probably be an eager participant in this great program. Within the Johnny Appleseed District is a group of men trained to evaluate and improve your performance. To set up your evaluation, simply contact Fred Schmidt, JAD Standing Ovation Coordinator, by mail at 21970 Carter Road, Bowling Green, OH, 43402, by phone at 419-833-1993, or by e-mail at FSchmidt@LRBCG.com. Your evaluation will not be made public, nor will it be sent to the District. It will not be sent anywhere! The Standing Ovation Coordinator will notify the Society of your participation. This will allow them to measure progress and the degree of involvement in this program. You
are going to love the Standing Ovation Program!
