Apple Corps

Apple Corps is the Harmony Education School of the Johnny Appleseed District.

Apple Corps takes place each year in June on the campus of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. Apple Corps offers a wide range of courses designed to help develop your singing and performance skills. Classes intended to help front line directors, assistant directors, section leaders and those who want to be musical leaders are also offered each year.

For quartet men, IQT:Kenyon, part of JAD’s Intensive Quartet Training program, gives JAD quartets the chance to receive coaching from some of the best coaches in the Barbershop Harmony Society. IQT:Kenyon is a very affordable and high quality opportunity for your foursome.

In addition to lots of educational experiences, Apple Corps is dedicated to making sure that you have a great time and leave the weekend with your barbershop battery recharged and excited to be back on the risers with your home chapter. There are opportunities for social singing and meeting new friends during our nightly afterglows. You could strut your stuff in the Pick Up Quartet Contest or with our feature quartet in the Sing With The Champs event. The pinnacle of the weekend is the Saturday Big Show with our top quartets, the Alliance, and the Mega Chorus entertaining a packed house!
