The Man of Note Award

When a current member of the Society is responsible for bringing a new member into the Society, the “sponsor” receives a very attractive gold “Man of Note” lapel pin in the shape of an eighth note, inscribed with the number of new members he’s been responsible for introducing to barbershopping. Your first pin has a “1″ on it. The second has a “2″ on it. And so on. Guys who bring in a bunch of new members wind up with alot of pins – some even need a display case to hold and proudly display them.
